Default Remington Treestands

I was looking at my local archery shop and saw a Remington 30-06 hang on treestand for $45.00.I was wanting to know how good they are if anyone has used them?

I bought two a couple of years ago. They are good solid stands, a bit heavy, so they are better suited to being set up and left up for the season or at least moved seldom. Worth the price.

At that price you really can't go wrong.

Those look nearly identical to some hang ons I saw at a Meijer store yesterday for $39. Wal-Mart is carrying Remington stands this year, I didn't check the price but it's probably lower than $45. Frankly, I didn't think the Remis were of any higher quality than the Ameristep or River's Edge versions I've seen, and one of those two is probably who makes them for Remington.

Good stand for the money, not as heavy as some hang-on's. They seem to be well built. The safety belt that comes with them is decent also. I personnally like the larger platform in these stands. By the way they are not affiliated with Remington Arms.
