EQ or EQ24 climbing stand

Unfortunately I do not have a dealer for the Equalizer tree stands near me. I have also not seen one of these stands in person. It makes me a little cautious to drop $400 + into a sight unseen stand.

My question is how do I know which one is large enough for comfort. The EQ is 21 1/2 inches wide and the EQ24 is 24 inches wide.

Weight is also a concern as the EQ is 20 lbs and the EQ24 is 25 lbs.

I am just not sure if that extra 2 1/2 inches in the EQ24 is worth the extra $50 dollars.

Im 5'9" and 225 lbs. so Im hoping I fit comfortably in the EQ stand.

Any opinions, suggestions, or input on the Equalizer stand width/weight?

on those specs i personally would go with the lighter one

I have the standard one and I am 6' tall. Plenty big enough for me.
