Default Glock Pistols....

Hey dudes, just wanted to get some feedback. I'm going to purchase a pistol, but not sure which route to go. I'm really leaning towards a Glock 19 Homeland Security Pack...but, I really like the Springfields....but, I really like the S&W...

Not sure, I haven't shot any of them. However, I do like the feel of the Glock.
Let me know what your feelings, or point me somewhere else...

What about the Glock 27?

I have all three, I prefer the Springfield XD in .40 cal, sweet little gun. The Glock is nice and a good shooter and dependable, but seems big and blocky in my hand. The S&W is also a very nice gun, But I still like my XD better. Shoot them all if you have a chance thendecide. Can't go wrong with any one of them.

I will tell you that I believe that the Glock is a great gun. I work in law enforcement and carry one every day. I have also seen a demonstration where they submerged it in water, dumped sand and dirt in the barrel and then it fired. I have also fired H&K, S&W, and Sig Sauer and just prefer the Glock. I prefer the Glock, but others may tell you to go with other weapons. I recommend that if you do go with the Glock, that you shouldtrain with it, learning the safety features and the "no external safety" feature. Other weapons have externals but the Glock does not. Again, I work in law enforcement, and I trust this gun and do rely on it to save myif needed every day. If the Glock was not a worthy gun, the Pennsylvania State Police and most other law enforcement agencies would not be using it.

Good Luck !

IMO Glock is the best choice for a reliable, defensive handgun. Here is my Glock 27 that I use as my off duty/backup gun:

I like the Springfield Armory XD45. It just seems to fit me better.
