Guess I'm a bit late in seeing this but as cool as the sling stix look, I'd have to use shooting sticks. The reason is the same as when I moved from bipods to shooting sticks-not versaitle enough as to length of adjustment and added weight to rifle. I've found shooting sticks, the kind where you can slide the rest anywhere up or down the length of them, offer MUCH more adjustment for height wether sitting, prone, or even standing-1 set of sticks does it all AND they can be carried independantly of the weapon.

Shooting stix, have no complaints and are easy and quick to set up on an animal. Have not used the sling stix, but they look like an awkward product and a pain to use. By that I mean always having to pull them out and pack them back in.
