My girlfriend asked for me to look for some warm hunting boots for her. She doesn't want to spend a lot but wants a warm pair. I was wanting to see if any one had some suggestions on a good durable pair of boots.
My suggestion is a good pair of Sorels with pull out lining and warm wool socks for warmth. I have hunted northern Minnesota and Michigan with mine and love them. In southern Missouri, where we live and hunt mostly now, I wear Merrell hiking boots and they are plenty warm.
A guy on another thread recommended spraying your feet with antiperspirant...I'll be trying that myself.
