Default Best Climber for under $200

Alright guys, here's the deal...I need a climber but I only have $200 to spend. This has been a rough year and while I love the Summit Viper, it is out of reach for me this year. I have seen a couple of Strong Builts's, Gorilla's & API's in the $150 range but I am not sure how safe they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you & God Bless.

SportsmansGuide has a climber that is made by API (I think). I own it and love it! $89 and you get a high quality climber. Its fairly light and folds perfectly flat for backpacking. Its also quiet and safe. Another climber for under a $200 I've been checking out for next year maybe is the summit bushmaster in cabelas. I think its $179.

Look at the Summit Viper Classic. They are steel instead of aluminum which translates into an additionalfive or six pounds. It depends on how far you are going. I use one of these and love it. They usually run around $154 at Academy Sporting goods.

Awesome, thanks griz..I was in Houston a couple of years ago and loved the deals they had at Academy...I wish we had them down in Florida as BPS has become a bit pricey [:@]
