I just ordered the Garmin Rino 530Hcx. Color gps with 2 way radio built in. Should be arriving today! I am excited to try it out. I used to use some Motorola 2 ways but I don't remember which model.

The Garmin 530 is nice. The GPS makes it what it is.

I got it yesterday and this thing has so much on it that it's going to take me the entire season to learn how to use everything. But I really like it so far!

We use the midland series...all talk with each other regardless of model. Newer ones will travel about 5 miles in the mountains....which is damn nice!

I have two sets, one is an older Motorola FRS, forget the model and a set of Midland's both have the same chipsets so you can get a good number of people talking.

I've have a couple of sets of those things, Midland and Motorola and I have found them not to be of much use here in the hills of WV. Both are fine line of sight though.

The midlands are all nice to. I particularily like the new Midland GXT-950. 5 watts of power with camo finish.

What about headsets?
