i have a pair of these in the "brown slight coloration".....there is NOTHING wrong with them and mine came with a small little black marking on the rubber brown coating......flat out excellent optics for the price and you CANNOT beat the warranty.....10x better then Nikon....just speaking from personal experience.

I have seen ads for the Vortex Optics, was not sure if they were any good or not but they seem a little better priced then the well known guys.

Thanks for the recommendations,

If there are any more I would love to hear them

Jeff

No problem Jeff. On another site i frequent there were about 3 other guys who baught Vortex from the same website and all came out happy.

another good brand (completley hear say) are the newer Alpens. The warranty is not as good and you can pick them up better priced on ebay, but they say these are very good bino's for the price as well.

i also personally own a pair of Bushnell H20 bino's. they are not as good as the Vortex, but are ok glass for the price i paid ($75 on ebay).

I didn't have a bunch of money to spend on bino's last year so I went with the Bushnell Trophy's. After using them for a year now I really couldn't be happier.I purchased them in the 10x42 and they are great! Not to mention that Gander Mountain now has them on sale for $119.00

I have the Bushnell Scouts 10X42. They were right around $170.00. They work great! Fairly lite and durable. I bought them at Snake River Angler's in Moose,WY. Will and Rob gave me an awesome deal. Couldn't pass on 'em.

I use these as well. Have 4 seasons with them now. They do the job just fine. Clear and sharp completely weather and fog proof. For the money a great choice you won't regret.
