Default best waxed cotton upland coat

I'm looking for a replacement for my Lewis Creek waxed cotton coat. What I am finding is that Barbour, Orvis, and others make them too long, too heavy, or too hot.

I hunt upland and produce a lot of heat doing so. The old Lewis creek has the ventilation in back and the nylon mesh and the pit zips. It works great, but likely won't last forever (9 long seasons so far).

The length I'm looking for is 29" or so. LC doesn't make them anymore as far as I can tell.

Just bought a Barbour and will send it back as it is both too long and far too hot.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
