Default Summit Open Shot SS Climber

Has anyone used the Summit Open Shot SS Climber tree stand? Just wondering about it, easy to use? safety? Noisy etc.

Thanks for any response

I have an open shot since last year. I have altered it a bit to make it work for me. I have sharpened the teeth to grip trees better,I put a Viper seat on it, and have removed the bar under the seat with a thinner wider peice of alluminumthat is placed farther back. I would like to say I had an API extreme bowhunter and found the open shotclimber to work better for me. I will note that most people freak about the open front. I like as little toa stand as possilbe, something like a chain on so nothing gets in my way. It weighs in about 14.5lbs with the new seat and lighter seat bar. Very easy to pack in and hang. I would recommend it for anyone who is not afraid of having an open front stand.

Used my cousin's last bow season. Stiff, quiet and simple.

LOVE MINE! If you have a good saftey harness there should be no worry about the open front. If you go to summits site there is plenty of options you can add to this climber to make it better suit your situations...
