it works good, definitely not a waste of money. however - i feel a 50 pound salt block is the best thing you can do for the money. i get more pictures over salt then any other attractant. plus, salt lasts waaaaaaay longer then anything else and is just a fraction of the cost.

I've had no luck with , put a camera on it and all the does in the picks just walked on by. Maybe others have had better luck.

I have used it and had mixed results. I just switched to a Trophy Rock and it is working pretty well. My dad uses 40lb bags of softner pellets and they seem to attract deer. All of the products will work if in a place that deer come by already. I like to put the salt on an old stump. The salt soaks into the stump and the deer will eventually eat the stump away. I placed a cattle salt block on a stump several years back and deer still go to that stump to eat, Its Amazing.

I just put 2 test sites out this season. One 3 weeks ago, and the other this weekend. I checked the first after 3 weeks and there was some activity in it, but nothing crazy. I will stay away from both for several weeks and check again late Sept.
