Default Snake Boots

Looking for a pair of snake boots to replace my snake Muck Boots. I have been eyeing the Danner Pronghorn and someone told me that I need to invest more and get the Russell's. i don't know about $400 for boots but people who have them are insane about them
What do yall think?

I paid $100 for my Redhead Snake Boots. I had a pair of Redhead for seven years before that did well for me. I spend a lot of time in snake country and we have them crawling around here most of the year, but I won't spend $400 for a pair of snake boots.

I got a pair from BPS that were waterproof and snake proof with the zipper on the sides.. That is a must. They usualy run 129.00 but you can catch them on sale for 99 like I did.

i boght the same one's. great snake protection (speaking from experience) but the waterproof only last aboout 1 season. mine now leak but i bought them primarily for the snake protection. i know they work against ground rattlers but i haven't found an eastern diamond back to try them out on.

I just picked up a pair of the Danner's through a footwear program at work so only time will tell. Now if it would only rain here as to test the Gore Tex in them.

I also have the BPS Snake boots and I think that they're tough to beat when it comes to price and comfort.
