Default Yam grizzly 700 VS kodiak 450

hey guys. I have a 05 kodiak 450 and it runs great. Recently, I really started getting into riding so i want to upgrade to a Grizzly 700. I was wandering if anyone knows how much more power the grizzly has...is it worth going thru the process of selling my current bike, searching for a new one and making the payments again for the increase in "rideability" the grizzly has over the kodiak. i mean my 450 is a beast, it gets me thru alot, but i want some more power honestly. how much more torque, power, speed or whatever does the grizzly have over the kodiak? or if anyone owns a grizzly, give me some reviews. good things, bad things, etc. convince me to upgrade lol. Thanks alot

You'll notice a huge difference in power. I haven't gotten to ride a grizzly 700 yet, but our grizzly 660 tops out at around 65mph. If you're a more aggresive rider, you'll definitely appreciate the extra punch of the big bore engine. Especially climbing hills and accelerating out of corners. As far as the quality of the grizzly is concerned, it's top notch. Smooth ride, easy to steer, and light enough that you can throw it around. I say go for it.

I have a Yam Griz 700 and love it. The power assist steering is a wonderful addition. That's what sold me actually. It's got plenty-o-power for this old fart. It can be juiced up if you so desire. I added a few goodies to it... the best being new sneakers. The stocks aren't much to brag about. I put some Maxxis Bighorn radials on it. More gooder now! Good luck with your decision.

My brother has the Grizzly 450 and I have the Grizz 700 and there is definitely a difference in Power, Steering, and Smoothness. Also he has to let his warm up, while mine is ready to go as soon as I start it due to the EFI.
