Default Tree stand info

I have a Grand Ol' Man clmbing stand that was purchased about 2001.Does anyone know how often the cables should be changed?The stand is kept out of the weather when not in use.[/align]

I would inspect them for broken strands, rust, losse or worn ends and check the anchors to see if they are in good shape...Any doubt..replace them....It probably is a good idea to replace them from time to time.
