I have the 530 and two 120's and I love them. We use them in our camp and they work well. The 530 is by far better than the 120 both with features and the radio side. I feel they are very user friendly.

We get about double the range out of the 530 compared to the 120. Where we hunt it's very hilly and has steep ravines and we have no problems covering the 400 acres with the 530, we had alot of dead spots with the 120's. Don't be deceived by the advertised 18 mile range as that is based on line of sight. Also you need a good signal for the polling feature to work as well as the text feature. Compared to thebest Motorola and Midland radios out there, I would say the range is equal to the both of them. They are very rugged radios and I have dropped mine from the stand and in the creek more than once without any problems.

I have never used the GPS Radio Combo. However, I have a Garmin GPS that is 10 years old, and still runs like a champ. I only tell this, because, based on Prior Garmin Products, you will probably not be dissappointed.

Definate thumbs up on the Garmin Rino. I have the 520. The GPS and Radio both work great. It's nice to combine the two and carry one less device with you on the field.
