Cabelas Rifle-It overhead gun console

really considering ordering one. I am wondering if anyone has one already. My concern is it hanging down and hurting windshield visibility. i'm really picky about that. Since my 06 Sierra is a regular cab its hard to reach behind the seat for a rifle in a hurry and that might cure the problem.

I ordered one of these for my Superduty a couple years ago, and was really dissappointed with it. It didnt obstruct my vision at all, but it seemed cheaply made, and was made from some thin flimsy sheet metal. Some of the holes didnt line up exactly, but with a little tweaking it could be installed. It just wasnt as sturdy, or protect my gun as well as I had hoped. Dont get me wrong, they are a nice looking piece, and will do what they say it will, but I guess I just wanted more out of mine. I sent it back and got a different brand of overhead rack, not sure the name, it holds my guns much more solidly, but does hang a little lower, I dont have a problem as Im only 6 ft but a taller person may hit their head on it from time to time, I did when it was in my Jeep.
