Alright boys, pound for pound, what is the best Ladder Stand available out there today. It can be a single or double but lets take price & quality into consideration.

hunters view 2 man buddy stand.....$99 bucks at walmart when they carry them. 4' extension brings it to 16 feet for additional 39 bucks. holds 500 lbs. It attaches to tree in two locations unlike a lot of others for a really good bite. I know the walmart thing might make it sound cheap but I have tried others and I think it is the best bang fer the buck in ladder stands. Put a netting around it and you are good to go....

I know you're yanking my chain, but which is better, one that is rated for 200 lbs or one rated for 500 lbs?

I've got the hunters view 2 man, actually I have two. The first one I gave around $125 and the second I got for $89 on clearance but I haven't put it up yet.I leave it up year around because it is akward and heavy. I don't think you can measure which one is better between a one rated 200 or 500 lbs. Of course the 500 lb rated one is going to heavier. But, I'm a big guy and I like the extra room too.

i have a buddy who has a slight handicap and he uses the light weight alluminum north star. i think its the lightest one you can get. my all time favorite is the strongbuilt basic ladder stands. they have good bracing and roomy seat and foot platform. i was getting them for 69$. after that i like the 2 seater 99$ one at walmart that you can get on clearance for like half that. sure its heavy but comfortable.
