do you wear cotton socks with them, too?

apparently the lady that sold them to my mom said they should be worn under wool socks and that's all you need but for some reason i don't believe that.

If im out hunting I usually wear wool socks over them. When im at work and its cold out I will wear them and then wear just some normal whites over them. They seem to help keep my feet dryer, something else I saw on this site was to use deoderant with antiperspirant will cut down the sweating. Hope this helps

I wouldn't wear any cotton garment in cold weather. Cotton when wet has next no insulation when wet. Wool, fleeceor polypropylene are better choices.

I use the polypro socks as well, under wool socks. They get the moisture away really fast. My wool sock will be wet, but my feet aren't. Kinda weird how it works.
