i am lookin into gettin a groundblind for christmas but i wanted to know what would yall suggest for a good texas brush country ground blind....
i was looking for a ground blind within the 100 to 150 dollar range with 100 dollars bein the best.....i would like for it to be big enough to comfortly fit 2 people and even 3 if possible....i plan to bow hunt from it so it must be durable and if it has that shoot through mesh window with that scent control system that would be a plus.....i was lookin into that ameristep blind called brickhouse tsc i think sportsmans warehouse is selling it for like 120 bucks......but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The brick house is definatley a good blind. I bought the eastman outfitters blind at academy which is identical to the brickhouse for 119 bucks, I belive the brickhouse is like 149 or 159 dollars.

I got my brickhouse from Gander Mountain about 2 months ago for $79. It seems to be a good blind for the money, and the limited time I have used it. I think that it is ideal for one person. Two could be in it, but a little tight I would suspect.

Double Bull blinds a great for a couple of reasons. First, they are extremely easy to set up. They also have a frame design that eliminates flap and noise from wind. Unlike most blinds, the fabric used does not have a gloss finish which prevents light from being reflected. Double Bull also uses the distinct camo patterns that don't make a sillhouette. This is the same idea that is discussed in the post what do you hate about all the new camo patterns http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1708302. The camo has a light background with distinct dark lines that allows it to blend very well. They are a little pricey, but very durable, and there is nothing else like them on the market.

You get what you pay for.....
I bought a ameristep or whatever for 60 bucks,aint worth it,two people could sit in it and thats it..but if you bow hunt dont plan on sitting in a seat you have to be on your knees and against the back wallto shoot a bow.would be ok for one guy with a rifle tho..
I would save up and buy the Matrix 360........Iam trying to talk the wife into getting it for me at X-Mass time.
Iam giving the cheep one to my children to play in.........

I have a pop-up tent from HS, I think its called the hide-out that I like very much. Have taken three deer from it this year already. Some spots in the swamp, you can see better on the ground. I paid $89 for it onsale, norm price is around $130.
If you want the mack-daddy, get a double bull matrix. Hunted out of one a few weeks ago....oh so nice!

yea see but have any of yall hunted in south western texas in that double bull blind?im sure u havent those blinds u have to get naked in them after the sun comes out all that material heats up like a crock pot........and oh yeah i went to sportsmanswarehouse a couple of days ago and went inside of that blind amatter of fact me my dad and my uncle went in there pretty comfortable....and im about 5'6 my dad is about 5'10 and my uncle is like5'7 and were about avg weight so i think that blind would work great for us and im only 15 so the window height sitting on a chair would be perfect for me at full draw

if its available to you...just use natural brush and cut saplings about 1-2 inch in diameter and stick them in the ground(after a rain)how you want them...its free and takes 25 minutes tops..looks completely natural and will keep you somewhat dry when done right ..i am not a big fan of hunting out of tents...butsometimes you just dont have a choice.
i have 4 that ive made on my property in the summer and they are still there and in good shape...i plan on making more next season possibly 10 more just to have more options instead of hunting 20 feet up a tree all the time. i want to set them up to where i can stalk from blind to blind in the deep woods...it should be fun...
