Got my new Sportsman's Guide catalog yesterday, and had to laugh at a new product. It's called the "Deer-e-ere", and is a plastic tool with a T-handle on one end, and on the other end looks like the end on a metal fence post, with 4 sharp barbs. You're supposed to insert the pointed end into the anus of a deer, twist, and then pull out the anal canal, cut and tie-off, to avoid the mess. Not sure I want to try this one, but if anyone has used it, how did it go? I can just hear the guys at the deer camp if I was to pull this thing out.
