Sniper Country <$600 Spotting Scope Reviews

A comparison of scopes less than $600 is done. Kowa 612, Swift Panther, Bushnell Spacemaster, Burris Signature, Nikon Spotter XL, and Leupold Wind River are put through a through test. I just placed an order for the Bushnell SpaceMaster #78-1821 20-45x60 (LER) with the OPTIC ZONE (very good prices). The new SpaceMasters are fog/water proof with a "Rain Guard" coating, the older #78-1817 and #78-1217are not, and I really like the rear focus.

Nice review though a bit dated isn't it (circa 2001). I know at least three of the scopes are still in production so it may still prove helpful. I seem to remember seeing other scope reviews but I honestly cannot remember where. When I find them then I will post the link.
