buck fever synthetics

Has anyone used BF-RUT, and if so howgood does it work? Is it supposed to smell like ammiona?

I tried it last year and had no luck with it , frankly I think watered down ammonia would have worked as well or better .

I used it the last two seasons. They say it doesn't go bad since it is synthetic so I had some left over. Anyway, it didn't help but it didn't hurt either. The deer just didn't seem to notice it.
