RE: springfield armory scopes
These are good scopes. Made by Hakko in ***an Hakko also used to make the higher end millet scopes and they make some other manufacturer's scopes. All of the S. A. scopes I have checked out have been fully multicoated and waterproof. Initially I only saw fixedpower 6 and 10 x's. And I think they were made with the .308 in mind. Makes sense as the M1a is 308. But lately I have saeen some nice variables by S. A. One of them was even a 3-9x40 so they are thinking of competeing in the American hunting market
But I wasn't overly impressed over other scopes in the price range. The mid priced range is pretty crowded now and most of htem are pretty impressive. But like I said it is a good scope. Look through it and check it in comparison with other scopes and see how it holds up tp Burris Signature, Leupold VX2 and VX3, Bushnell 4200, Meopta etc.
