I have 3 Surefires,6p-The A2 Aviator and the E2L Outdoorsman. 2 Energizer headlamps, work great and are less then 20 bucks. 1 Energizer flashlight, a adjustable Duracell C cell ,a bag full of Maglites from the mini to 6D. Out of them all the Mag-lite LED XL50 is my favorite, compact, uses aaa batteries and puts out big light.

Default Slow on Change

I have two old flashlights, that I use at home and for hunting.

They must be five and ten years old; the youngest a LED.(are they that old?)

Of course, when you move to AA and AAA batteries from the giant D battery montrosity of old, you get satisfied easier.
In the last ten years, it's been stocking up on AA and AAA batteries. Saves on the pocketbook.
