Opinions of Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40 scope

Does anyone have one of these or can you comment on the quality/value of this scope? I'm looking to get a nice scope for my groundhog rifle that will last a while.

I have a nikon prostaff and I love it! I have taken three deer with it. Two in poor light and one in good light. It cant be beat for the cash!

I have two and they haven't let me down yet. Nikon makes some very good quality equipment. I would not hesitate to buy another.

i shot my uncles encore 270 with a nikon 4x14x40 on it 2 day and it was a nice scope he payed 289 $ for it that scope will be the next scop i buy it was nice and i use mostly lepould 3.5x10x50 for the money cant beat the nikon i like u can adjust foucus for diffrent ranges

I have one on my Encore as well. I also have one on my 870...switch from a mid-grade Bushnell red dot. The 870 knocked the snot out of it until the dot was floating all over the place. Took it off and put on the Nikon and haven't had any problems since. The majority of my scopes are Leupold as well, but the Nikons do just as good of a job for me.

I have Nikons on all my rifles, and I have the 4.5 X 14 on my 7 mm Mag. They are great scopes, with a lifetime warranty at half the price of a comparable Leupold.

I have two, one of the older ones with standard paralax adj and a new one with the side focus. In my opinion, these are some of these best scopes out there for the money. I could not have been more pleased with both of mine.

Can't go wrong with Nikon, you get what you pay for in optics.

If you hurry you can jump on one of these, great scope at a great price. I have one sitting on my 223 AI.
