RE: deer cam
Deercrazy1,---We have many pictures that were sensed 70-80 feet. The controlling factor here is the outside temp. If the outside temp. is in the middle 90s and the animal being sensed has a body temp of 100 then there is only a 10 degree swing for the camera to work with so the distance will be much shorter. If that same animal is being sensed when the outside temp. is in the 20s then there is a 60 degree swing thus the sensing distance will be much greater. With the new cams that have selectable sensing it is a good idea to turn it down some when the tempsare lowso that the sensing distance does not out run the flash range.
