Default leupold reticle

what do you think as far as the reticles on the vxlll scopes. Has anyone used the boone and crocket. was thinking on going with that one because of a good deal that can be had.I will mostly be deer hunting and ocasional elk.or are the regular duplex the one to go with??

I have the B&C recticle - it is nice; however, it is not needed for 95% of the situations I hunt in. In hindsight, I would have preferred to get the wide duplex rangefinding recticle.

I like mine. It's simple to use and if you hunt open country it's a nice feature to have. I have the 3.5-10X40 mm I put on my new Remington 700 XCR. If you think you can get it for a good deal I say go for it.

I've just got the basic duplex/rangefinding system. I'm not planning on shooting a deer far enough off with my 25-06 that I have to make much of an adjustment.
