Default Pop up blind

I am considering purchasing a Ameristep stackhouse for bowhunting and gun hunting with my kids. Has anyone tried one and does it work well for bow hunting? Is there room for me and my 12 yr old both to sit comfortably in two fold out bag camp chairs for gun hunting?

Scooba,
The stackhouse is 60" square. I hunt also with my 13 year old daughter and comfort is key to havong her stay out there. We have a Brickhouse TSC and I'M veryhappy with it as it offers enough room for both of us. I believe the Brickhouse is 60" also with a slightly different design. It remains 60" all the way to the roof section offering a lot of room. . We also hunt with the camp style chairs when we gun hunt. The key to being able to maneuver in the blind for us was to purchase the camp chairs that do not have arms.
Have fun

By the way. For bow hunting with 1 person hunting it will be fine. If you are looking for 2 people with bowhunting you may want to look at the Ameristep bighouse. I've been in one and its huge. Enough room for several gun hunters and at least 2 bowhunters

hey Scooba,
Sometimes they can even get a little too comfortable in the blinds

I have the brickhouse, doghouse, outhouse and the penthouse. Get the penthouse and be done with it. It has plenty of room for you and your kid and you can shoot your bow from a standing position. It is not bad to set up or take down after a couple of practice tries.

Good luck.
