Default Great Outdoors Smoker Hints and Tips

I searched all forums on the net but was not able to find a specific forum to post my query so I decided that this was the best place to start.
I am not new to smoking game meats, sausages or making jerky but I am looking for more information and experiences for my new smoker.

Unfortunately when the smoker arrived I had hoped for a small recipe, hints, and tips booklet . . . but alas there was none.

It is the 34" Great Outdoors Smokey Mountain Series gas smoker.
I am looking for anyone having this smoker that could share experiences with it and any hints or tips they may have that they would like to pass on.
