Default Gore Tex & Scent Lok Combo Question

I have been curious about the use of the GoreTex/ScentLok combination clothing, Bibs specifically. The published lit on the scentlok says to throw it in the dryer to reactivate, no problem there. Would there not be a problem with the "plastic" for lack of a better word, membrane of the goretex system? I know my Cabelas dry plus eventually dried out and became brittle after just 2 seasons. It now sounds like you are wearing a bag of frosted flakes when you move.

Default RE: Gore Tex & Scent Lok Combo Question

I have been using the Cabelas MT050 Gore-Tex Scent-Lok for the past 3 seasons. I buy a new suit every year but still have the forst one I bought. I use it for cold weather fishing and post season scouting / shed hunting. It is as quite and waterproof as ever.

Gore-Tex is a very durable membrane. I have never had any troubles with any Gore-Tex lined clothing.

I did have a DryPlus scent-Lok outfit from Cabelas 4 seasons ago. It rained on opening day and my back and one thigh got soaked Gore-Tex is far superior to DryPlus.
