RE: cold wet hands
I carry two pair of gloves, both acrylic fleece. Regular long finger gloves with suitable grip material on palms and finger grip surfaces. If it gets colder, I put on (over the first pair), a second pair of finglerless fleece gloves with neoprene palms. I've used this combo in many situations from 0 F and windy to 40 and rainy and they keep my hands warm. I also have neoprene and goretex gloves, but I've found this combination is very versitile and does indeed keep my hands warm even when wet (fleece really doesn't soak up water - much better than wool for this, imo). If it's warm, I just use the fingeless gloves. They're a little big when not worn over the other gloves, but they work fine. I use this combo for deer hunting, duck hunting and week long float/fishing trips in cold weather.
By the way, the gloves I use happen to be black and gray, not camo. If you cant find camo, I truely believe these gloves are pretty good in that they are not highly visible to deer's (or duck's) eyes.
