Who makes Cabela's Alaskan scoopes?

They offer a 3x12x52 30mm for $339 and that includes the rings.

Good luck finding this one out. I recently bought a set of Alaskan Guide binos and all they would say is that they were made by a major ***anese manufacturer. I am assuming Nikon based on that comment and also on the particular texture of the image but could be totally wrong.

I also searched the net on a few occasions and found a few comments here and there in various optics forums which led me to believe it was either Nikon or Fujinon.

I've been told a few times(used to work at Cabelas for a couple years), but can't recall the name. It's not a common manufacturer anyone has ever really heard of. But they make a lot of optics for different manufacturers.

I emailed Cabela's but they declined to provide the manufacturer.

they come with Leupold rings.... HMMMM .. I called the 800# was told company policy forbids disclosure...noone knows.... top secret.. I hope were not supporting some bad folks
