I hate to do it, but I've gone back to med. + speed SPO hounds and am selling the last of my faster/stronger dogs.
AKC Field Champion 10 year old line bred Branko male FC Deaton"s Bo for is for sale. Bo is a beautiful Black Tan & White AKC official measured 12 ½" little male. He runs a speed 8.5 on a 1-10 scale, is broke, & hits HARD out of a check. He has an awesome squall mouth w/ no extra. Bo throws hard hunting, hard hitting pups, w/ excellent conformation that start early!!! He"s dead broke and most of his pups tend to be naturally trashproof & if not they"re extremely easy to break.
He had 201 cottontails and some snowshoe hare shot over him this past season. He"s collar broke, handles great, & is quite in the kennel - no barking whatsoever. For a hare bred dog, he"s extremely clean on the line and close in the check. He also has an excellent nose - his win in LP came on a 90 degree day in dry heat and he soloed the rabbit while the other dogs just got a piece here & there but couldn"t do anything w/ it.
He is a dog that produces better than himself. I"m selling him b/c I"ve gone back to SPO dogs and he"s too fast for what I"m running. He finished in Mid-West SPO and has a 1st and several other places in LP, I would have dual championed Bo but I quit trialing LP. One drawback is he hikes in his waterbowl so I keep it elevated on a few bricks. He"s DNA profiled and as is bred to produce.
