Default Getting a dog used to gun fire

This isn't really for a hunting dog, but I thought that you guys might be able to help out. I'm in the midst of moving to Colorado where I've got some land that I'm going to be living on. My shooting bench at the my private range will be my deck at the back door.

The problem is that I've got a siberian husky that has never been exposed to gun fire. She's almost 7 years old.

How can I get her used to gun fire without scaring the hell out of her???

Thanks for you help,
Robert
