Making rawhides for my pup (fresh pig)
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this it could fall under a few areas. What it is I have a fresh hog coming from the fair and I have the hide coming and I want to try and make treats like rawhides for Mongo my almost 4 year old lab. I am thinking maybe with hunting hogs and other animalsthis might be somehthing that done by some hunters for their dogs. I am just wondering if anyone has any links or ideas for how I can make these for Mongo.

First time hunting, and have to say kicking myself for not starting sooner. Those ducks, geese, and deer better watch out for my 870.
