Can confirm this has worked for us many times as well. But with anything try out different mixes to see what your hogs like the best.

I use just plain corn. It usually only last a day and a half but the hogs only eat it at night so I guess I'll have to go night hunting.

You can acclimate them to come to your feeder during the day if you use timed feeders and don't have them go off at night unless you are going to be sitting over the feeder. They will learn to come to the sound of the feeder throwing corn.
