Yep, wild hogs can carry several serious diseases.
Always wear eye protection and gloves while field dressing/skinning/cutting up wild hogs. i use the long kitchen gloves sold at th dollar stores. Clean up all tools after each use and properly dispose of the gloves.

I've got a washing machine with a heating element in it and can almost boil my clothes (above 160 F.). I use a base soap without all the whiteners and brighteners.
They say you can freeze your clothes and do about the same thing, kill 99% of most things that may harm you or yours.
