Need more info. Where killed, what is the weight, what did you use? I see antlers and perhaps a feer ear in the truck, was the hog taken while on deer stand?

it was killed while deer hunting in north ms. last weekend. i been reading some of what you were saying about eating wild hogs and that is the reason i posted this picture. the only wild hog i have ever not been able to eat was a sow that must have been in season. i kill a bunch every year and size or age dont have anything to do with the way they taste. this big boar was skinned and we had backstrap loin that night and it was very tender and tasted so good we have ate it every night.

it weighed 365, shot with a .54 t/c hawken using a patched round ball pushed by 80grs ffg goex black powder. shot hit the neck and ball took out a fist size chunk of spine. shot at 25 yards out of a tree stand, he was the second hog i killed that day. the other was a smaller one about 125 pounds.
