looking to see if anyone knows of any wild populations of hogs near northeastern penna. i've heard rumors but to drive around and look would cost more than going somewhere down south i know they are.
There are a couple bands running around in PA, and also in NY, but they don't seem to be breeding like they do in the south. Better chance of killing one of the mountain lions the game commisssion says don't exist.
I think I would head to GA, FL, or TX if you want to kill a wild hog.
havent heard reports of hogs in NE PA
most of the hogs are in the western part of the state and tioga county area,
not enough of them to intentionally pursue and hunt them
but worth keeping an eye out for signs when you are out in the field
Been hunting Ne Pa for over 55 years, Never saw a Hog. had a Mt Lion 30 yards in flinter season. That was in wyoming County 3 years ago. My sister, My wife and my friends also saw a Mt lion so they are around. One in columbia county and the others in Squenn????? County
I would also like to get a Hog But I also searched and only can find outfitters and for me way to much $$$$$
Good luck, Stan
