Default Hog Hunting in Florida

These pigs are taking over our property. We were deer hunting and were able to take this hog. It was about 185 pounds. Some good footage on the camera. Can anyone else give me any advice on how to manage them?

Keep pulling that trigger. Once they get breeding you are SOL.

To keep ahead of their prolific reproduction potential, focus on the younger sows. If you can take a few gilts (a never bred sow) you'll have done a lot. Keep at it, and zip one of the larger sows when you have the chance.

To manage a hog population, you'd do best to pass on the big boars in the beginning.
