This video really annoys me. I'm from Louisiana and our local area is known all over the country for our hog dog trials. Why did they not dispatch this hog as soon as the dogs had him bayed. Then turning loose more dogs just to attack the boar?! This video is the crap PETA preys on. All is would take is for one activist to get a hold of this and put an end to an otherwise great sport. Also baying without using kevlar on your dogs showing a real lack of consideration for your animals. But to answer your question the last dogs were a breed of pit. We used pit breeds and catahoula curs. Pits are commonly known to be more aggressive when baying which usually turns into a problem.

Correction. They are called Dogo Argentino's according to my brother who I just showed the video to. Looks just like a Pit but a lot wider through the chest.
