Default Pig hunting in northern ca

im new here and i need some help, ive been hunting big game since i was a kid with my dad but never pig, im wanting to try it out but i realized i have no idea where or how to start, could someone tell me of good areas in northern california? a marine buddy of mine asked me if i would take him hunting before he goes overseas hes never been and pig is the only thing i can hunt right now. thanks

Honestly, you wont find much, try going south a bit to Fort Hunter Liggett

Public land in Cali for pigs produces a whopping 2% hunter success rate. Your best bet is to pay a guide or put in a lot of time if you really want to get after a pig.
