When I was a kid in Austin 1955 or so we had a rat infestation so my folks would drive us out to a private dump ground and we would burn up a box of regular 22 shells.I still like it I even came into a shot barreled 22.its deadly on rats.Used to carry it on my tractor and shoot them when they run out.Extend your hunting season kind of like hogs.Chuck
