NC Boar hunting

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good public hunting land to do some wild bore hunting on? I'm new to the state and am trying to find some places to hunt. Any info would help! Thanks!

If you find out a place please let me know. I hear the western part of the state is a good place to go but not sure where exactly.

Just browsing thru and saw this topic. You are right most public land will be in the westernmost counties in the mountains and nearing Tennesee(I'm basing this off the 2011-12 NC regulation digest). However I have seen on internet site that Johnston Co. has an outfitter that offers hog hunts so who knows searching in that area may turn up some public land oppurtunities. I don't know this for sure but you never know until you look into something.
