Default Hog Barrels

Last season I made 6 hog barrels. A 55 gal drum with 1" holes torched in. chained to a T-post, the hogs learned real quick to roll the barrel around to get corn out. This year with same bait they are not figuring it out! Why?

I hunted a place that did that also but the holes were about 3" & they definatly knew how to roll em around to get the corn. Yours may be just a little to small.

we use a pipe, capped on both ends, staked down on one end, with small holes in it, put a lil corn in it, not much, ya want them to werk fer it...werks well fer tilling up soil and removing brush.

The hogs will eventually figure it out.

Last season they were on 'em right away and figured out how to roll them, just crazy they are taking so long this year. The first ones I made I had to plug 1/2 the holes, they were emptying them way to fast!
