Default Rhino Horn

***THIS IS NOT A "FOR SALE" AD***

I have a really old Rhino horn that was given to me about 20 years ago. I know for the most part it is illegal to sell, I'm just wondering if there is anyway to make it legal? I really have no use for it, it just sits in a box in my basement. I obviously don't want to break the law and would rather see it go to someone who would enjoy it more than me. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

Possibly check with a museum currator about laws involving such things? You cannot be in trouble for it. But they could direct you to your options maybe.

I think that with elephant ivory there is a way to get it certified as being "pre-ban ivory." Not sure what all goes into it but that may send you down the right path.

Never seen one other than at the business end of a live rhino at the zoo.....
Helluva conversation piece!!!!!
