I shot this Axis Buck on my in laws ranch between rocksprings and del rio, low fence free range. it has 32" main beams

very nice, I use to hunt that exact area a few years back. I remeber the first time we saw an axis out there, they seem to be populating pretty good in that area.
Good job and very nice.
What caliber etc.

is hunt with a custom remington 700 in .22-243 middlestead. He was looking at me so i shot him in the throat. killed him instantly

Very nice buck,, I hunt just west of Kerrville,,free ranging too,,heading there in Nov this year,,hope I see one that nice,,good luck hunting this year everyone

We are starting to get a good herd of them around Possum Kingdom lake in Texas where we have a lake house.

Axis is to me the best game to eat.
