Default My last hunt Aug 14th/2010 (Hogs)

That's right,,,went hog hunting (Aug 14th) with a buddy on private land.
On the way into the stand we got winded by the hogs that were at the feeder (About 10) and they ran off.
Got up in the stand about 6:45,,feeder didn't go off,,but I waited on them to return.
About 7:30 about 7-10 came in very quietly from my right side headed to where the feeder was. (I thought they would come in on my left side)
I checked out a few through the scope looking for the ones without the,,,(well you know what I was looking for on the back side) any way, the one that was about 20 yards from me didn't have any,,,so I drove his head in the ground with a shot just below the ear, He didn't move!

Kocked the gun real fast and looked up to see one coming from my left to my right,,O-no you dont,,,,BAM! He ran off away from me,,,,Kocked the gun again,,,,,another one behind a small bush,,,BAM,,,he went about 20 feet and dropped!

HOT DAM! I was jacked up! Took a long breath and decided to call David on the phone and let him know what happened. After a short conversation, I got ready to come down from the stand,,,and Ill be dam, there was another one right under the stand,,(If I would have had a shell in my 45cal Glock I could have blasted him too!

Man what a great hunt! David said they were about 80-90lbs each
Thanks Davin G. for everything!
