I am almost positive that they are hybrids of a Sika and Whitetail breeding. The buck has horns that are very sika like and the Sika can and do have the white spots and a very distinctive white rump. I know for a fact the sika cross breed with Elk (they are called Silks) I have shot one in south Texas.........so why not Sika and Whitetail?

Whitetail can not cross with the Sika deer. Just like whitetail won't cross with elk. However these look very much like Dyboski Sika not crossed with anything. The buck is not a bad sized one either.
