Default I hunted a zoo

Yep I went on a high fence hunt if you want to call it that.
Actually I call it a meat hunt. They were taking out does and the price was 50 bucks a doe. So I couldnt pass it up for meat for the freezer. Actually the does gave me a bit of trouble trying to get one with a bow, they were very spooky and busted me about 6 times on the draw, I could have killed bucks and exotics all day long but the does were not cooperating. But I did end up taking one doe with my bow.
Anyway heres 2 vids of the zoo I "hunted".

Nothing wrong with a meat hunt like that.Thinning the herd for some frezzer filler anywhere at $50 a head works for me!Looks like they got some exotics need thinning also!

i can get you a number
the fallows were pricy. 1200.00 I think, 8 point bucks were 800.00 which was the cheapest horned hunt. Some rams were 150.00 I think.

Are you sure you don't mean where's the hunting in that?

I can agree with thinning down the does, but its just that and not hunting. I hope the does is all you took.

To each is own. I love the sport of hunting and it's not about the killing it's about the experience with family, friends and self. People who run an operation like that attract the type of hunter who needs his ego stroked and doesn't have the skills to go out and get the job done. He lives thru field and stream and Saturday hunting shows. Which again, those shows except for a couple of them are corperate advertising generated crap. Even if it were free I wouldn't support an operation like that. Look at the building in the back. It looks like a barn yard. I've hunted for over 36 yrs and some of my best hunts I walked out of the woods empty handed.
I would never be a party to try and shutdown an operation like that, hey if thats how the man earns his living so be it. Just not my thing. Ok time to get off the soapbox.

Default hunts

call 806-282-3502. They have some awsome hog and deer hunts right now. They're also a high end taxidermy shop outside of Amarillo.
It's Stuff it Taxidermy or texasstuffittaxidermy.com

Nothing like the mention of a high fence to get the "holier-than-thou"s out of woodwork.
